Our Shopping Spree ??????

Lyn and I arranged to meet up with 0ur Granddaughter in the City as she wanted to buy a Dress for a Dinner she was going to that very next night ~ (She left shopping for it to a very late date:O)

Lyn and I decided to drive to Norwich Airport and catch the Park and Ride Bus ~ into the City as this would save us looking round for a parking space ~

We arrived very early and went to look round one or two shops ~ then we went into the Forum to have a cup of Coffee ~

It was the very first time I had gone into the Forum and it was a very pleasant surprise Lovely and warm and lots of stalls selling no end of different gifts ~

Anyway we eventually caughtup with Granddaughter and went into her very favourite shop "Next" ~ after trying on at least six different dresses she didn't like any of them ~ so we left and crossed the Road to Debenhams ~ collecting Dresses which I thought were lovely but she didn't :O( ~ so we once again crossed the Road to M&S where I thought she would definitely find something that she wanted and liked:O)

But No after trying on several more dresses we called it a day ~ Granddaughter gave us a lift back to the Park and Ride ~ and we went back home ~

We later learned that Granddaughter had got up at 11pm and went to Supermarket where she did in fact find a dress that she loved ~

Believe it or Not we really had a great evening ~ It was nice just to meet up and chat ~
I had an e~mail From Kath "Mother Hen" who has been having quite a lot of health problems and has not been on the Computer ~ she asked me to give you all her love and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and A Happy New Year and to say how much she missus all

Pleased a suitable dress was found. I keep seeing people in a certain coat but can't find a shop anywhere that sell it. Hope the weather is not too bad where you are, it's freezing cold here.

Take care.

My granddaughters are the same way. They know what they want and will not accept anything less. Thank you for the update on Kath. I've wondered about her and also about Jan. I hope they will both have a good New Year and you too Ally.

Hi Ally, enjoyed the shopping trip, I know you guys had a good time. Good the right dress could be found. We have a sweet Grand daughter also. As a matter of fact we are leaving for a birthday party for the son, and she will be there.

Stay warm. Love from across the Pond.

Isn't that typical! Searching around all of the proper clothes shops to find nothing, then a trip to the supermarket finds just what is needed :o) Glad you had fun anyway, Ally :o)

What fun you all had looking around anyway. I know I love to shop with my daughter. Glad your grand daughter found one she liked finally. Thank you for the info on Kath. I have missed hearing from her and am sorry she's having health problems. I'll drop her an e-mail.
I hope you enjoy the holidays!

Hi Ally, All that shopping around is hard on the feet is'nt it Ally? It is freezing cold here Ally in Dagenham, it must be even colder there where you are in the countryside.
I hope all is well with you and yours and i wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I have also been keeping in contact with Kath over the months, shes been so very ill in herself, i am so pleased shes on the mend, slowly but sure and she will soon be back writting her blog...Astra!/ Sandra

You can't beat a bit of retail therapy to lift the spirits Ally.

With women it's clothes and with men it's gadgets.

Happy Christmas to you and Lyn, Barney and Nin.
(Really getting the urge to add Cuthbert Dibble and Grub now!) ;O)
