The School Holidays are nearly over

It seems ages since the Children Broke up for their holidays and now it is nearly time for them to go back to School ~ and I think they really are looking forward to the new term ~

We have been out and about up and down Country Lanes and exploring the countryside ~ in this part of the world there are many places to visit ~ if you like the seaside we are only a few miles away from the Sea and Sand ~ but I prefer the countryside ~ We went through a small village and in one of the gardens we found this cow with her calf just by the side of the road ~ it seemed an odd place to have a stable but she looked very content as did her calf ~
I hope to have more time to devote to my blog ~
Ally

I can remember the daunting feeling mixed with pleasure at the beggining of the summer holidays when my children were young ,what to do with them ?,but we always managed and they were such simple pleasures and persuits, not like today ,and then the surprise at how quickly the days had flown ...lovely pic of the cow and her calf ..love Jan xx

I'm glad you've been having some nice days and enjoying the summer. It's sad for me to see it end and I've really enjoyed it too. There will be some nice fall days ahead though and we are looking forward to some cooler days.

Nice day out. Great, you are able to get about. Neat catch this calf and cow. My system was a mess yesterday, could not raise your blog.
Like to see your name pop up on the alerts.
Hope everything is going fine in the life of Ally.

The six weeks holidays seems to fly by for me, maybe if I were a parent it would seem much longer?

One more week left over here also, before school starts up again. Many are enjoying the local agricultural fair and exhibition here in Vancouver. Enjoyed your pictures of the cows. Lucky you to be so close to the sea and also the countryside.

I love cows. Always have, always will. I was raised on a smally farm & we had lots of cows & it was my job to feed them...they all became my friends. They can be gentle creatures. School starts her September 8th. It will be fun to see the kids back in school & off their skateboards in front of my house. (LOL) Linda in Washington state

Hi Ally! :) Your countryside pictures are just beautiful. I have missed my blogging friends so much this summer, it has been a fun filled busy one for me. I hope yours has been nice too. The days are getting shorter here and its getting dark earlier and earlier, driving me indoors too early for me, so I am trying to get by to say hello and see how everyone is. Love, Kelly XOXO

Hi Ally, wow, so many entries to catch up on! I love your corn snake and cows! I live by the sea but I prefer to walk in the country too. So much to see and do. The school holidays seem to go so fast, the weather was bad for them this year wasn't it? I'm sure the kids would say it was better than being at school! Jeannette xx
