He is not really in the Doghouse ~ you couldn't be angry with Barney he is such a happy little boy ~ and he did only eat the custard out of the middle of the custard tarts ~ He looked really pleased with himself when he saw us watching him ~ maybe he thought they were left there for him !!!!! ~
It was of course our own fault for not putting the chair back underneath the table and Barney would never miss the chance of getting something extra to eat ~ Nin isn't agile enough to jump up onto a chair so he missed out :o) but he will get a small treat which Barney will miss out on :o)

It is hard to be mad when they look at you with those big eyes :o)
When I had the beagle he would jump on the table like that. How cute you took the time to take a picture of it. Sometimes you just have to laugh at them, It's that or cry I suppose.

I can see Barney's way of thinking. Ally and Lyn left that chair to climb on. Hummm good.
Most dogs hear what you say and than totally ignore you! Mind you, you can not be cross with them for long as there love is unconditional

I love the middle of a custard tart, the pastry tastes yuk without it, so Barney has good taste :)
am sure the birdies would have loved that pastry so maybe he was sharing in his own way.
Hope you feel a lot better now.

I see Barney is up to his tricks. Nin is like Salty having his favorite position. I put my bird seed on the ground during the winter only. My squirrels are numerous when the pecan tree is full during the fall as they make noise on my roofs. However during the winter I see only one squirrel. Across the road the wildlife refuge leaves rows of corn out for deer and other animals/birds. Though a combine was out harvesting the rows getting ready for spring planting. Most of the corn seemed to still be there on the stalks but I don't go and look to see how much is inside the ears. Apparently enough for a spring harvesting. mark/salty P.S. The pear tree on my blog may have died this winter in which case I will remove it instead of trying to save it. Just click on Salty for my blog address. mark
