Sunny Day and Allergies

                                                              william maing up 002

Here’s William sitting in the Hallway using Lyn’s Makeup ~ He is such a lovely little boy and can entertain himself for hours ~

There is just one problem with all this Sunshine and flowers blooming they bring out lots of pollen and set off any allergies

especially my Asthma ~ but luckily this time I did manage to go see the Nurse who is qualified to give out prescriptions ~ so for the last week I have nearly finished a course of Antibiotics and Steroids ~ no need to call for assistance from the paramedics ~

Lyn has bought herself a Trampoline which should have been delivered last Friday but it didn’t arrive ~ they now tell us it will be here to~morrow Monday  (We shall have to wait and see)

With this nice weather time now to think about filling the swimming pool ~ or will that be tempting the fates ~ last year when we did just that the weather changed and we hardly had any Summer weather ~

I let Barney and Nin into the Garden Barney shot out of the door and the next thing I saw was Barney throwing a little field mouse into the air he then picked it up by the tail and was shaken it (poor little thing) ~ I managed to get him to leave it and with trepidation picked it up by the tail went out into the front garden and put it into the hedge it scampered away so I am hoping it will be OK ~  (you might think I am a fool worrying about one small mouse) but I do hate to see anything hurt ~

Hello there Ally. I've noticed that the pollen counts have been high here lately too. Very bad for people with allergies. We are supposed to be in the mid 70's today and then rain is scheduled to reappear on Wednesday. Sunday after church I got both the front & the back yard mowed, so that's done for another couple weeks. Have a wonderful week...Linda in Washington

How nice you are having good weather. It will be the end of May before any pools open around here. Allergy season is beginning here too due to pollen. Thankfully I'm not affected. Glad to hear your medications are helping.

My allergies have been acting up a long time. Having these doga are not helping any. No matter I love our two dogs, just wish I didn't keep a headache and heavy nose stopped up all the time. Helen

Hi Ally - poor little mouse. Let's hope it suffered nothing more thn a fright.

I'm very lucky not to suffer from allergies though my bruv used to suffer dreadfully from Hay Fever. Probably still does.

William looks adorable at the table. My kids loved playing dress up and adding makeup. So nice that he can entertain himself - my youngest was like that. My allergies are awful this Spring, too. You know, we get a lot of the same kind of weather that you do, over here in Vancouver. Right now it is very sunny and warm. Three days ago, we were freezing! Big (((HUG))) for rescuing that little mouse. I'm sure it was fine after the shaking ordeal, if it scampered away all in one piece.

Ooooh, I have allergies and asthma too. But for some reason, mine are'nt too bad right now. Lynn's little boy is darling and a wonderful lad. I hope this weather isn't like the last two years and a precursor to a crappy rainy cold summer! Edwin says that this is how spring used to be! Fingers crossed!

Oh I don't like to see anything hurt either though whether I would have been able to pick it up is another matter even though I kept white mice when I was a child. Eileen x

My sons allergies have reared their ugly head making it miserable to be outside. Hoping your Today treats you well. Take care and enjoy!

I would have saved the mouse as well. My one and only experience with a trampoline was painful and I figured out that I had no future on it.

I do hope y'all have more warm weather than last year. I remember the temperatures not even getting high enough for a comfortable swim in that pool that was set up and then it was all over and getting cool again there. Those little dogs of yours are made for hunting rats and mice you know, it comes natural to them! That is what their breed is for...so you can't blame them for what came natural. I know it was traumatic for the mouse. We don't do mice here. I remember when you had that little mouse in the garage? Is it still there? We have to keep the numbers down here or it will explode and we will have an infestation. They love to get into the feed and spoil it, and eat it. I hope your allergies will stay away and you will feel great during this summer. Mine have not been too bad at all, but then we have had SO much rain! Love, Kelly
