me and Joy

I love this picture of me and my Big Sister Joy ~ she only looks bigger because her chair is taller than mine :o)

we have been more than sisters we have been great friends ~ and I love her dearly ~ when I was in hospital she was there for me trying to take away any pain that I had ~ she would willing have taken it away and took away the cancer that was trying to take me away from her ~ I know for certain that it was because of her I am still here to enjoy her company ~ her encouragement and her prayers always made me feel strong ~

I would not dare to have left her she would never have forgiven me ~

We have five brothers and an older sister and we were always a very close family and we were always there for each other ~ but Joy and I were the youngest two girls in the family we went to School together and when we left School we worked for the same company for a while ~

I just want her to know how much she means to me and how glad I am she is part of my life ~

I was prompted to write this post today as I had a Hospital appointment today and everything was fine and I do not have to go back for another year ~ it is amazing the things that go through your mind before an appointment and the relief of knowing all is well ~

I'm so happy to hear you are well and I love the picture of you and your sister. How wonderful that you have her. I have 2 dear sisters that are always there for me too. What would we do without them? My children are very close too. I think that happens often in large families. One thing my daughter missed out on is a sister, but now I think she loves having sister in laws. Have a wonderful weekend. 'On Ya'-ma

Great entry. Nice to have a sibling that is close. One you cherish. Most of all so glad to hear the good report. That is simply wonderful, and I know it makes you feel like shouting.
Sure before the appt. a lot must go through your mind about such a very serious subject. Bless you lady and great to hear the report.
Hang in there, Jack

What a cracking photo. I envy you that sibling closeness, something I have never had with my brother. However my three girls are like that and it is a joy to watch and to see.

Big hug.

Remembering those years of childhood is wonderful as we age. To view life through the mind of a child is something from the Bible I think. I am glad that your sister was there for you during your cancer, and that you recovered and are doing so well. I enjoyed seeing Barney in the bed. Salty and I had a misfortune on March 18, which is in my blog: http://landscapeartwork-mtrib2.blogspot.com Have a good Easter Sunday to you and Lyn. mark/salty

Hi Ally, Joy sounds like the kind of sister I wish I`d had. I was an only child until aged 8 and then was blessed with a baby brother. I was so disappointed back then and would have been happy to change him for a sister immediately....lol! I`m so glad your appointment went well. Happy Easter. :o)

Love and Hugs
