Where is Barney ??????

Barney went missing today ~ we searched the garden the workshop and all the little nooks and crannies where we though he would be ~

We eventually found him in the last place we expected he would be

Very comfortable as you can see :o)

Barney in Bed

He had found his way upstairs and made himself very comfortable in one of the beds up their ~

we were just pleased he was safe  as he does mean such a lot to us !!!!!!!!

Don't you just love it when a story has a happy ending. I misplaced my hat the other day, I knew it would show up. But a missing dog....you fear for them because of the legs that can carry them out of sight and into danger and that very fast.
Here is to Happy endings!!! Jack

My cat would do things like that to me. Hiding out but the dog was always right at my feet like a shadow. It does give one a fright for sure. That Barney has the good life!

I'm so glad Barney wasn't really lost. Looks like he knows a cozy spot when he sees one.

My 'Bubba' did that to me one time...All the other pups had run out the door when I opened it and then they came right back when I called to them...but Bubba didn't. I walked up the street and down the street hunting him...I came back home crying...thinking he was gone...and then lo and behold, here he comes out from UNDER the bed! I was so relieved, I culdn't get mad! lol

Hi Ally x,

Perhaps he thought they were more dust sheets that needed guarding.

Typical dog! When I had two goldies we always knew they would be in one or two places, either tucked up somewhere warm and comfy or the wettest and mudiestplace they could find!

Poor Barney!! He was just so tired with all the guarding he had to do during your painting, he needed a good rest. And what better place than someone's bed that was already warm and comfy. LOL Glad you found him o.k.

I know how that feels, it can send you into panic mode. Awful feeling. Guess he just wanted some time to himself. He could have let someone know! LOL! ;) Love, Kelly

Of course he was snuggled in bed, why would such a lovely creature cause his anxious owners any worry? He knows how good he's got it I suspect lol!
