I don’t know if I will leave it in my blog but I just really wanted to try and forget it but I always seem to be able to remember it ~
“When life is but a burden
and hope it seems has gone
Pray to God to to help you
To make your weak will strong
Ask him for the wisdom
to know it will not last
Tomorrow is another day
when pain is in the past
Look toward to future
rely upon your friends
Peace will come I know it
When the Old day ends

That was truly a beautiful poem. I know the hurt you must have felt as I too lost my husband almost 20 years ago now. How wonderful it is that you can express your thoughts so well in a poem. That is a gift you have. I know that your memories of him will always be cherished. The pain I felt at the time has dwindled and now I'm just thankful that my husband was a part of my life for as long as he was. I agree with Jan when she said time doesn't change things but it does help us to accept. Lots of Love and Hugs!
