I always smile at the little verse below ~ It is pinned up on the notice board at the Doctors surgery
LITTLE PILL
Little pill here in my hand
I wonder how you understand,
Just what to do or where to go,
To stop the ache that hurts me so,
Within your covering lies relief,
You work alone to ease my grief,
You sink in regions there below,
As down my throat you quickly go !
But what I wonder, little pill,
Is how you know right where I'm ill ?
And just how do you really know,
exactly where you have to go ?

Love it!!
Thats lovely!
Thanks for the SMILE today. It's good to see you like your daily dose of silliness too. Smiles do mean a lot especially when having to swallow medicine.
I must remember that as I take my medication.Loved the verse Ally,
Thanks for sharing.
Yvonne.
That was so cute! I never heard that before. Hope you're having a good week.

Good one and so true.
Haven't we all wondered exactly that? I have.

What a cute little poem.--Inger
That's a delightful poem!
Here's a poem that SHOULD be in my doctor's office:
If you're not sick
You soon will be...
When you receive
My costly fee
(heck, I'm no poet!)
Great poem Ally :-)

Guess I'm number 101.
Great! I've often wondered the same thing.
Jimmy
The poem brings a smile.
Cute picture. Reminds me of the old Holly Hobby pics out a decade ago. Haven't seen one in awhile.
Great post!

It has been enjoyable reading about how things are going for your family in the U.K. A howling snow storm with frigid cold came roaring in yesterday. It is only predicted to reach 18 degrees F today. I will take Salty for some walks today but will wait until tomorrow to leave to go grocery shopping. I keep him in his pen with his doghouse and a blanket that was once a sleeping bag, but he scratched out the filling. Since Salty got older he began using my bed (he knows he is not allowed there) and will scratch an area to make it comfortable to his liking. mark/salty
